Bannach ElementaryHome of the Bannach Bulldogs
Welcome to Bannach Elementary School. Bannach (built in 1991) is located on the far east side of Stevens Point in an established and growing residential neighborhood. Our school houses nearly 420 students early childhood/kindergarten through sixth grade. Bannach offers YMCA before/ after school care as well as a hot breakfast program from 8:40-9:05 daily. If you are interested and available, we have numerous volunteer opportunities for you to be involved in throughout the school year. Please ask your teachers.
Student Council has some fun dates for us:
April 22 - Earth Day - Student Council members will read some 'Earthy Facts' on the morning announcements with a focus on celebrating the use of our water bottle refill station
April 27 - Babe Ruth Day - We will kick-off the baseball season by encouraging folks to wear their favorite baseball gear or Bannach spiritwear
April 29 - 80's Day - Dress like someone from the 1980's - neon, leg warmers, side pony tails, spiked hair, etc.
School hours are from 9:05 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. Cadets are on duty 15 minutes before and after each school day session. Staff is on duty to supervise the playground beginning at 8:45 a.m. each school day. We ask that non-bus students do not arrive at school before that time, as no adult supervision is available. Parents, we ask for your help in this effort to have children leave home at an appropriate time to gauge their arrival time at school.
